FAQ's

What Should I Expect? - The Christmas Walk in an indoor event which features a mix of fantastic light displays, photo opportunities and animatronic characters, plus the chance to see and feed Live Reindeer

What does an upgrade ticket include? This includes your entry into the Christmas Walk but with the upgrade to include a ride in Santa's Magical Elevator at the start of the Walk experience. The upgrade tickets are very limited so its best to book in advance as when these are sold out we will not be able to accomodate any "on the door" requests as we have been able to previously.

Can I upgrade my tickets on the day to the VIP entry? If when you arrive at the centre you decide you want to upgrade your experience please ask event staff. If there is space they will accommodate your request and the upgrade fee can be paid on the door but we'd really recommend booking this in advance to avoid disappointment.

How Long Does it take? - You can expect to take around 30 minutes inside the Christmas Walk

Is it Wheelchair/Pushchair friendly? - Yes! The walk is created in an indoor area with a block paved floor and ample pathways to manoeuvre around.

Can I bring my dog? - No, we are sorry Dogs are not permitted into the walk as part of Animal Safety rules due to the live reindeer.

Will we see Santa? - Unfortunately, this event does not include a visit with Santa, visit our main events page and follow the Grotto links to arrange this separately.

What is a Reindeer Treatbox? - A reindeer treatbox consists of some reindeer pellets and some reindeer moss. These of course can be purchased on the day of your visit at the entrance to the Christmas Walk if you'd prefer.

Does everyone need a ticket? Everybody over the age of 1 requires a ticket. As babies aged under 1 are free they do not require a ticket for this event and do not need to be included on a family ticket.

Something's come up and I can't attend, can I cancel my booking? Unfortunately, not as per the terms and conditions are shown on each event page tickets cannot be cancelled once booked. Please check all the Ts and Cs prior to booking. 

What's the difference between this event and the Winter Woodland event? This event is held indoors and is open daily right throughout November and December. This event features the real reindeer.

The Winter Woodland event is a spectacular light display which is held outside in our woodland area. It is only open on selected evenings throughout the Christmas Period.
